Work has started!

appeal logo sml.pngScaffolding has been erected around St Paul's throughout June and July for the much awaited renovation and repair work on the guttering. This is almost complete but is continuing into August and will hopefully soon be complete. Thanks to some very generous donations we have been able to make a start on this project, but we still need to raise further funds to take the whole project forwards Can you help? If you would like to make a donation, you can find details on this page. There is more information on the project on this page.

The Latest Situation

Although we are not yet able to open again for services we are be preparing to be able to do so in September all being well. During August there will be no services for the  9th and 16th but we will ahve a service online for August 23rd.

There are plans afoot for a joint churches Said communion service on Sunday 30th August- at St Nick's, 10am outside the Church Hall- Lawn Avenue side.  You are asked to get in touch with our church administrator, Gael Browne on 01332 550431 or email to book a place.

You will need to bring your own chair or something to sit on- we can provide chairs but need to know in advance. You will need your Bible, writing materials if you like to make notes and your own refreshments. Households can sit together or those who have formed 'bubble groups'. Please bear in mind it's an outdoor service- if it rains you'll need appropriate clothing! If it's very heavy rain, it might not happen- hence please let us know if you'd like to come so we can get in touch if it's cancelled.

You may like to wear a face-covering, but we will be outside and social-distancing. Communion will just be in one kind only as Church of England guidance permits.

Also, please keep an eye on our website and our Facebook page or both for further news. This page will be also constantly updated to keep you abreast of what is available. Look at the links below and keep an eye on the right hand column (click on the images).

Each Sunday, the Church of England will be providing a service online which can be viewed here If you miss viewing it at the time, then the link will enable you to view it later too.

We have also added some videos of our puppets which you can find on the Handful of Worship page

We now have a video sideshow of our Strawberry Afternoon Teas event, which you can watch here.
